Lawn Care in Daytona Beach

We mow, edge and feed your lawn the way your grass actually needs it. That means the right height for St. Augustine or Bahia, freshly sharpened blades and clean edges along every walk and bed. You get a thicker, greener yard without guessing what to do next.

Steady Care That Keeps Your Grass Strong

Most lawns here are St. Augustine, Bahia or Zoysia growing in sandy soil that drains fast and holds few nutrients. Each grass wants something different. St. Augustine does best with a tall cut, roughly 3.5 to 4 inches. That extra leaf keeps the soil underneath cooler and leaves weeds very little room to sprout. Scalp it short and it browns, thins and invites dollarweed.

Our lawn care is built around those small habits. We sharpen mower blades often so grass is sliced cleanly instead of torn, which keeps the tips from turning tan and lowers the chance of disease. We change mowing direction from visit to visit so the turf does not lean or rut. We edge by hand along sidewalks, driveways and beds so the lines stay crisp and the grass does not creep into your mulch.

It is the right call if you want your weekends back, your lawn keeps thinning no matter what you try, or you simply want someone to watch for problems before they spread.

What Our Lawn Care Visits Include

Mowing at the correct height
We set the deck for your grass type and the season, and never take more than about a third of the blade in one cut. Taller grass holds moisture longer in our sandy soil.
Edging and trimming
Hard edges along concrete, soft edges along beds, and string trimming around fences, posts and trees. We keep the trimmer line away from tree bark, since nicks there invite rot and insects.
Fertilizing on a sensible schedule
We feed in spring and fall with slow-release products sized to your yard. Local rules limit nitrogen and phosphorus during the summer rainy season, and we follow them so nutrients feed your lawn instead of washing into waterways.
Weed and pest watch
We spot-treat weeds rather than blanketing the whole yard. We also check the sunny, dry patches near driveways where chinch bugs usually start, and the shady spots where fungus shows up in cooler months.
Cleanup before we leave
Clippings are blown off walks, driveways and patios. Your lawn looks finished, not just cut.

Signs Your Lawn Needs Better Care

  • Yellow or straw-colored patches

Irregular dry patches that spread in summer often point to chinch bugs. Caught early, the damage stays small.

  • Brown rings in cooler weather

Circular patches with orange or brown edges in fall and winter are usually large patch fungus. Mowing too short and watering at night both make it worse.

  • Shredded, tan grass tips

A frayed look a day or two after mowing means dull blades. Torn grass loses water faster and heals slowly.

  • Weeds taking over thin spots

Dollarweed, crabgrass and sedge move in wherever the turf is weak. They are a symptom of short mowing or poor feeding, not just bad luck.

  • Grass creeping into beds and walks

St. Augustine runners spread quickly. Without regular edging, they climb over sidewalks and root into your mulch beds.

How We Get Your Lawn on Track

  1. 1

    A free walkthrough

We walk your yard with you, identify the grass type and note thin areas, weeds, pests and drainage. You tell us what bothers you most.

  2. 2

    A clear written plan

You get a written estimate listing what each visit includes and how often we come. No vague packages and no add-ons you did not ask for.

  3. 3

    Regular visits

Our crew arrives on your scheduled day, mows, edges, trims and cleans up. If we spot trouble, like a sprinkler head spraying the sidewalk or the first signs of fungus, we point it out with a photo and explain your options.

  4. 4

    Adjusting through the year

Growth slows in winter and surges in the summer rains, so we change mowing frequency and feeding with the season. Your plan follows the lawn, not the calendar alone.

What Shapes the Cost of Lawn Care

Lawn care pricing depends on your yard and how much work each visit takes. We give you the number after seeing the property, and the estimate is free. When lawn work is one piece of a larger yard project, we can also arrange financing for as much as $100,000, repaid over anywhere between two and twelve years, with no prepayment penalties if you want to clear the balance sooner.

Lawn size and layout
A wide open yard mows quickly. Lots of beds, trees, fences and tight corners add trimming and edging time.
Visit frequency
Weekly visits during peak growing months cost more over the season than every-other-week service, but they keep St. Augustine from being scalped after a growth spurt.
Feeding and treatment
Mowing alone costs less than a plan that also includes fertilizing, weed control and pest treatment.
Starting condition
An overgrown or weed-heavy lawn takes extra work at first. Once it is back in shape, routine visits are simpler.

Lawn Care Questions We Hear Often

Something not covered here? (407) 499-8402

How often will you mow my lawn?

Through the hot, wet stretch of the year, we usually come weekly, because St. Augustine and Bahia grow fast then. Once the weather cools, growth slows and a visit every two weeks tends to be plenty. We base the schedule on what your grass is doing, not a fixed calendar.

Why do you cut my grass taller than my neighbor's crew?

Taller St. Augustine shades its own roots, holds moisture in sandy soil and crowds out weeds. A short cut looks neat for a day, then stresses the grass. We cut at the height that keeps it healthy.

Do I need to be home during visits?

No. As long as gates are unlocked and pets are inside, we can do the work while you are out. We let you know if we notice anything that needs your attention.

Can you fix the bare spots in my lawn?

Small thin areas often recover on their own once mowing height and feeding are corrected. Large dead patches usually need new grass, which we handle through our sod installation service. We will tell you honestly which one makes sense.

Do you check my sprinklers too?

We watch for heads that are broken, clogged or spraying the driveway, since watering problems show up in the grass first. Repairs and adjustments are handled through our irrigation service.
