Property Cleanup in Daytona Beach

Overgrowth, tangled vines and old debris piles are a lot to face on your own. We cut it all back, pull vines at the root and haul every load away. You end up with a usable yard and an honest read on what it needs next.

A Fresh Start for an Overgrown Property

Property cleanup is the big reset for a yard that has been left alone too long. Think of a house you recently closed on, a rental that sat empty for months, a relative's place you are now looking after, or a back corner no one has touched in years. It is a larger, one-time job than our seasonal cleanup, which keeps an already-kept yard tidy through the year.

The difference between a cleanup that lasts and one that grows back in a month is in the details. Vines cut at the fence line come back fast in Florida heat. We follow them to the ground and pull the roots where we can. Weeds in beds come out by the crown, not just the tops, and we edge bed lines cleanly so you can see where lawn ends and planting begins.

When we finish, you know what you have. We point out anything worth saving, anything that should come out later, and anything that needs a separate service like stump grinding or tree trimming.

What a Property Cleanup Includes

Brush and overgrowth removal
We cut back volunteer saplings, weedy shrubs and thick brush along fences, walls and property lines. Small woody growth is cut low so it does not leave ankle-high spikes in the yard.
Vine removal at the root
Vines on fences, sheds and shrubs are cut, pulled down and traced to where they start. Getting the root crown is what keeps them from covering the same fence again by next season.
Bed clearing and edging
We pull weeds and grass out of planting beds, remove dead plants and old matted mulch, and cut a crisp edge. If you want fresh beds afterward, our mulch and beds service picks up right there.
Debris and yard waste hauling
Fallen limbs, palm fronds, leaf piles and old yard debris go on our trailer and leave with us. You are not stuck with a heap by the street waiting on a city pickup.
Overgrown lawn knockdown
Tall grass gets cut down in stages so we do not scalp it or bury the turf under clippings. That gives what is left a fair chance to recover with regular lawn care.
Final rake and blow-off
Walkways, the driveway and patio are blown clean, and we rake the work areas so the yard looks finished, not just cleared.

Signs Your Yard Needs a Full Cleanup

  • You cannot see the fence

When vines and brush have swallowed a fence line, they are holding moisture against it and hiding any damage underneath.

  • Beds have turned into lawn or weeds

If grass and weeds have taken over your planting beds and the edges are gone, a normal mow will not fix it.

  • Debris piles that never left

Old limb piles and stacks of fronds become homes for pests and kill the grass beneath them.

  • Saplings coming up everywhere

Small trees sprouting along the house or fence grow quickly here. They are far easier to remove now than in two years.

  • Getting a home ready to sell or rent

Buyers and tenants judge a property from the street. A cleared, edged yard makes a better first impression.

How Your Cleanup Day Goes

  1. 1

    On-site visit and free estimate

We meet you at your home, look over the yard together and agree on what comes out and what stays. Then you get a free estimate. Tell us about anything you care about, like a plant you want saved.

  2. 2

    Mark and protect

Before cutting, we mark sprinkler heads, low lighting and plants you are keeping. It is a small step that prevents a lot of broken irrigation.

  3. 3

    Clear, pull and cut

We work from the heaviest growth inward: brush and vines first, then beds, then the lawn. Roots come out where the soil allows.

  4. 4

    Haul off and finish

Everything is loaded and removed. We blow off hard surfaces, rake the work areas and walk the yard with you so you can see the result.

What Affects the Cost of Property Cleanup

We price a cleanup only after seeing it, since two yards of the same size can be very different jobs. Your free estimate spells out the work we plan to do, so the scope is clear before anyone picks up a tool.

How overgrown it is
A yard missed for one summer is lighter work than one left for several years with woody growth and established vines.
Volume of debris to haul
The number of loads we take away is one of the biggest drivers. Heavy limbs and thick brush fill a trailer fast.
Access to the work
Narrow side gates, fenced backyards and steep spots mean more hand carrying and more time.
Roots and woody material
Pulling vine roots and sapling stumps takes longer than cutting top growth. Large stumps are quoted separately as stump grinding.

Property Cleanup Questions

Something not covered here? (407) 499-8402

How is this different from your seasonal cleanup?

Seasonal cleanup is routine upkeep for a yard that is already in decent shape. Property cleanup is a heavier, one-time effort meant to rescue a yard that has been neglected or overgrown. Many customers start with a property cleanup and then move to seasonal visits.

Will you take everything away?

Yes. We haul off the brush, vines, limbs and yard waste we remove. If you would rather we leave something, such as logs for firewood, just tell us during the walkthrough.

Can you save some of my plants?

Usually, yes. Point out what you want kept and we will work around it. We will also tell you honestly if a plant is too far gone to be worth saving.

Do you remove trees during a cleanup?

We remove small saplings and brushy growth as part of the cleanup. Larger trees, palms and big stumps are handled through our tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, or stump grinding services, and we can schedule them together.

Will the vines and weeds just come back?

Some regrowth is normal in Florida, but pulling roots and crowns instead of only cutting tops slows it down a lot. Regular lawn care or fresh mulch in the beds afterward helps keep it from taking hold again.

Can I finance a cleanup that is part of a bigger project?

Yes. Plenty of people pair a cleanup with new sod, planting beds or hardscape work. We can finance amounts as large as $100,000, with repayment terms anywhere from two to twelve years, and paying the balance off early never costs you a penalty. Bring it up during your estimate visit and we will walk you through it.
